Who are you?
Prestige Hobbies is a hobby shop that has been in business for over 15 years. Our store is located at 1238 S Beach Blvd in Anaheim, California. Be sure to visit us if you are ever in the area.
Do you accept money orders and checks as payment?
No, but we do accept most major credit cards as payment.
Does this site change often?
Our inventory is constantly changing, and the site is updated often. Usually that will be at least once a week. Our site is also expanding, with new categories, and products being added as needed.
Can I order with confidence?
Yes. Unless specifically noted otherwise, all items listed on this site are new and are sealed in the original blister pack or box. Your order is processed on a secure server, which means it is encoded and cannot be intercepted in transit. When you place your order, you are ordering through our secure server and your credit card information is protected.
It is our policy not to charge your credit card until we are actually ready to ship your order. If an item on your order is out of stock, we will contact you by email to inform you, and to ask you if you would like us to delete the item and ship your order immediately, or wait for re-stock. Normally, any item that cannot be shipped within a week is deleted, and the rest of the order is shipped. You can also include instructions in the "comments" section of our order form about how to proceed in the event an item is out of stock, or colors ok to substitute.
What about shipping?
Your order is shipped promptly, usually by the next business day after receiving your order. It will be carefully packaged and shipped by either UPS Ground, USPS Priority Mail or on international orders, USPS Priority Mail International.
If you would like your order expedited, you can choose Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, or 3 Day Select shipping for an extra charge (if you are within the US).
On orders outside the US, we normally ship USPS Priority Mail International. We have shipped orders to Australia, Great Britain, Germany, Japan and many other countries with few problems. If you have any questions, please contact us.
We are sorry but due to problems collecting funds we can no longer accept credit card orders from Africa, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Singapore, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Viet Nam, and the other countries not found on our list at checkout.
It is not our practice to send orders paid by credit card to third parties outside the United States.
What about privacy?
No information about you, including your name, address or email address will be given or sold to any individual or company. Your information remains completely confidential. Please see our Privacy Statement for more information.
There is something that I don't see listed on the site.
Prestige Hobbies is a full line hobby shop. We carry wood and plastic model kits, diecast models, trains, slot cars, and most items you would expect to find in any hobby shop. We can not list all of the items we carry on our Web Site. If there is something you are looking for and don't see, contact us and we can tell you if it is available and how to go about making a purchase. We do not carry any radio control products or any items normally associated with radio control.
Although we usually have a good inventory of the more popular items, there will come a time when they will no longer be available. Many of these items are made in limited numbers and are discontinued after that number is produced. If you see an item you want, it is best to order right away to avoid disappointment. As time goes on, these items tend to get more and more difficult to find.
Pre-Orders
At times we will take orders for items that are expected but not currently in stock. Pre-orders must use a credit card as the payment method and will be charged when the item is ready to ship. Pre-orders will be shipped in the order they are received. In order to avoid confusion please do not order anything else when making a pre-order as any other items may not be held for you and may not be in stock when the pre-ordered item is ready to ship. If you want other items it is best to place a seperate order for them in order to guarantee you will get them.
